Personally I really dislike the pre-facelift rear. Looks weird to me. And I also think the facelift front looks a little off. Not as "smooth" as it should be. What I like about my setup too is both the front and the rear have a little design line design line on the bottom about 3" up.

They have a stumpy (almost square - 2 rows of connectors) connector on, whereas my car has a long thing plug (1 row of connectors). I assume the problem is the Pre/Post Facelift changes - but can't be sure.
Hey guys! I have a 1998 328i e46 saloon (pre-facelift). I wish to do a DIY and replace the headlights with the ones of the coupe (pre-facelift).
my facelift e46 ZSP,ZCW,ZPP sedan came with 17" style 96, 3 spoke steering wheel, brown sport seats (power, memory and heated), sport suspension, ski pass through and folding rear seats, xenon, harmon kardon sound system, dimming rear view mirror, rain sensing wipers, and headlight washer system. '03 325i ZSP. '06 325xi.
1. unplug the battery as we will be cutting the wiring. 2. take off the inner part of the rear light and unplug it, do this on both sides, the pic below shows the difference between the pre and post facelift bulb holders. on the right is the facelift and on the left is the pre facelift, as you can see the facelift ones have 4 bulbs whereas the
02 325i / 07 CBR 600rr. No, Coupe hood will not fit, M3 hood will not fit, preface lift hood might fit, but facelift lines > prefacelift. Facelift lines go from the corner of the grill toward the corners of the hood, rather than just straight up the middle. The grill is also updated (less square).
